If you have curved toenails that are difficult to clip with a toenail clipper or you like the secure grip and the smooth, clean cut of scissors, then you'll appreciate this tool.
1. Wash your feet in warm, soapy water or use after a shower or bath. Clean, softened toenails are the goal.
2. Beginning at one side of your toenail and finishing at the other, slowly and carefully trim to the desired length.
3. Remember that your toenail should be even with your toe and that you should cut them straight across. Do NOT follow the curve of your toe and cut into the corners, especially on your big toe.
It's best to keep your scissors in a dry environment. If they get wet, dry them with a clean towel. You can also keep the cutting edges clean by wiping them with a towel after use. Swabbing the blades with rubbing alcohol and allowing them to air dry (while open) can help to keep them bacteria-free.
