Softens scar tissue and reduces the appearance of surgical, acne scars, and stretch marks. Fade is powerful blend of helichrysum and sage essential oils suitable for would healing and treatment of scars, regardless of the trauma cause. These oils create synergy and are especially effective when used together with rose hip seed oil. The triple unsaturated fatty acids strengthen the cell membranes and, combined with the regenerative qualities of helichrysum oil, heal wounds with minimal or no scarring.
Fade can be used as preventative and curative treatment. Preventative application may involve using Fade pre-operatively for several months to tone, strengthen, and nourish the skin prior to surgery. After the wound has closed and healing has taken place (7-10 days), begin applying the oil blend to aid in scar prevention and to promote healing to underlying tissues in the dermis. Never apply this oil on open wounds.
Curative applications involve using Fade after the fact, when scars are present. To help soften and reduce appearance of old scars allow at least three to six months of treatment to see noticeable changes; the older the scar, the longer treatment will take.
Fade is suitable for treatment of scars resulting from trauma wounds, chemical and thermal burns, surgery or stretchmarks, acne, keloid and unsightly scars.
Directions:
Small, recent wounds should be treated two times per day for about 10 days or until wound is completely healed. For treatment of old and large scars application is recommended twice a day over a period of 3 to 6 months. Fade is potent formula so use it sparingly on scar tissue and the immediate surrounding skin. You can gently heat this oil, by placing it in a warm water bath to improve absorption. For improved circulation to the scarred tissue massage affected area until oil is fully absorbed.
