Description
EcoSorb medical USP grade soda lime is used for the removal of carbon dioxide in breathing systems where the pressure-drop must be negligible. The main component is Calcium Hydroxide. EcoSorb consists of D-shaped, irregular sized particles. This geometry produces better packing density, minimises the the distance to the center of the particle and provideds greater surface area versus volume. These qualities combine to create improved absorption capacity. EcoSorb contains a color indicator which changes the granules from white to violet when cabon dioxide is absorbed.
