MultiChrome is formulated to isolate Gram-positive and Gram-negative organisms. Unlike older media, this chromogenic media is designed to ignite individual, distinct colors within the bacteria to allow isolation and differentiation of pathogens for a fraction of the cost of an outside lab. Simply inoculate the bi-plate, place in the MultiChrome incubator for 24 hours, identify readily visible, distinctive colors, and treat. Plates have a 6-month shelf life when refrigerated.
