Thoracic Chest Drain 16Fr x30cm (12")
This chest drain is suitable for use in dogs and has large sideholes capable of draining viscous fluids such as pus. It is introduced with the supplied trocar using a direct puncture technique into the thoracic cavity. Once the distal end is within the thoracic cavity, the catheter is advanced off the stylet into the desired position. This allows rapid, accurate placement. This chest drain provides an alternative to the silicone chest drains for those veterinarians who prefer a direct puncture to a blunt dissection introduction technique. It is intended for one-time use only.
