Contents: SOMUBAC� consists of inactivated, standardized cultures of Haemophilus somnus, adjuvanted with aluminum hydroxide.
Indications: For vaccination of healthy cattle and calves as an aid in preventing disease caused by Haemophilus somnus.
Directions: Shake well before using. Administer a single 2-mL dose subcutaneously to healthy cattle 3 months of age or older, followed by a second dose 2-4 weeks later. In accordance with Beef Quality Assurance guidelines, this product should be administered subcutaneously (SC) under the skin. Annual revaccination with a single dose is recommended.
Precaution(s): Store at 2�-7�C. Do not freeze. Use entire contents when first opened. Sterilized syringes and needles should be used to administer this vaccine.
Caution(s): As with many vaccines, anaphylaxis may occur after use. Initial antidote of epinephrine is recommended and should be followed with appropriate supportive therapy.
Warning(s): Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter.
