Flavored Diphenhydramine HCl
PRN Vetadryl 10 is a flavored tablet containing Diphenhydramine HCl specifically formulated for dogs and cats. Diphenhydramine is an antihistamine used in the treatment of allergies, insect bites and other conditions. It is also used for its sedative and antiemetic effects in the treatment of motion sickness and travel anxiety. It is also used for its antitussive effect. Available in two convenient sizes, 10 mg and 30 mg tablets.

Active Ingredient per scored tablet:
Vetadryl 10: Diphenhydramine 10 mg
Vetadryl 30: Diphenhydramine 30 mg
Dried Chicken liver flavoring.
Dosage:
Give 2-4 mg/kg every 12 hours by mouth, or as directed by your veterinarian.
Vetadryl 10 - Number of tablets to give every 12 hours per body weight
5-10 lbs: 1 tablet
10-15 lbs: 1-2 tablets
15-20 lbs: 2 tablets
20-25 lbs: 2-3 tablets
25-30 lbs: 3 tablets
Vetadryl 30 - Number of tablets to give every 12 hours per body weight
30-50 lbs: 1 tablet
55-65 lbs: 1-2 tablets
70-100 lbs: 2 tablets
100-130 lbs: 2-3 tablets
Vetadryl should not be used in pregnant or nursing animals. Do not use in combination with sinus or cold medicines in your pet.
