VETSPON Absorbable Hemostatic Gelatin Sponges 2cm x6cm x0.7cm
VetSpon is an absorbable gelatin sponge made exclusively for veterinary surgery to provide effective, quick and easy hemostasis during general surgery and dental procedures. Sterile, water-insoluble and pliable, VetSpon will absorb biologically over 4 to 6 weeks. VetSpon can be used dry when structure is required in the procedure, or pre-wetted with sterile saline for a softer, faster absorbing sponge.
No two surgeries or patients are exactly alike so VetSpon can be easily cut to the desired size and shape for the particular procedure and patient. By stopping oozing bleeding, VetSpon helps to increase visibility, allowing you to operate in a "clear," dry area which can:
