EID Compact Reader w/ Carrying Case (Model RS200B)
This hand-held battery powered passive transponder reading device is compatible with the technical specifications of ISO Standards 11784 and 11785, including both FDX-B and HDX technologies. Reads and displays the identification code contained within the passive transponder for visual observation and for manual transcription. Reads the Allflex 12 mm FDX-B glass-implantable transponder at a nominal distance of 5 cm (1.97") (optimum orientation) with a read error rate no greater than 1 in 106. Reads HDX ear tag type transponders at a nominal distance of 10 cm. Performs at least 2,500 reading operations when equipped with an alkaline battery (included), and at least 1,200 operations on a single charge when equipped with a rechargeable Ni-Cad battery (sold separately). Comes with a cloth carrying case.
