The paradigm of pre-surgical blood work is changing to include routine coagulation testing. The VetScan VSpro specialty analyzer offers precise, accurate combination PT and aPTT results (for canine and feline coagulation testing) from a single drop of citrated whole blood in minutes prior to surgery. The VSpro assists in the diagnosis and evaluation of suspected bleeding disorders, toxicity/poisoning, evaluation of disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC), hepatic disease and monitoring therapy and progression of disease states.
