If you like to keep your cuticles trimmed and feel more secure with scissor-style handles that are close to the cutting tips, then these short-shank scissors are a great choice. If your nails are on the smaller side, you'll also appreciate how easily the fine tips can trim in tight spaces.
1. Wash your hands in warm, soapy water or use after a shower or bath. Clean, softened cuticles are the goal.
2. Gently push back your cuticles with a cuticle pusher or manicure stick. Remember to be gentle and only push back the excess that is creeping onto the nail plate.
3. Use the tips of the Cuticle Scissors to carefully trim the excess cuticle that has been pushed back
It's best to keep your scissors in a dry environment. If they get wet, dry them with a clean towel. You can also keep the cutting edges clean by wiping them with a towel after use. Swabbing the blades with rubbing alcohol and allowing them to air dry (while open) can help to keep them bacteria-free.
