Each Thermophore MaxHEAT heating pad provides two cotton-poly blend Moist-Sure covers that absorb moisture from the air and holds it within the cover until it's heated. When the pad is heated, the moisture transfers from the cover and onto the area where the pad is being used.
Why moist heat? Moist heat penetrates more deeply into the affected area than dry heat methods, even at the same temperature. It's more comforting and soothing, which in addition to the increase in circulation helps enhance the effectiveness of the treatment. And with the Thermophore MaxHEAT Moist-Sure Cover, you don't add water. The cover absorbs moisture from the air and holds it until heated.

Our largest size is a generous 14" x 27" pad � nearly twice the size of most standard heating pads.
