SMS is an on-site sharps treatment and disposal product that disinfects biohazardous material by generating heat when proprietary catalyst packets are added to the patented odor-free NMA base ingredient. After curing, the waste is solidified, disinfected, and rendered unrecognizable and unusable, which makes it safe to dispose of in regular trash. For jurisdictions that do not yet allow disposal of SMS-treated sharps in the regular trash, use the "mail back option" to send your activated SMS container to WCM for disposal.
