The anal sac excision kit employs a hot liquefied gel injected into the sac. The gel is in a 2 mL cartridge that is first boiled to a liquid and loaded in a specially designed syringe. The gel is injected into each anal sac using a 19 gauge blunt needle. The gel hardens and gives the sac a readily defined and easily dissected shape for quick removal. Each kit has enough material to do up to 8 animals and contains: (1) Metal Breech Loading Syringe (8) 2 mL Gel Cartridges (8) 19 gauge Blunt Needles Kit components are also sold separately, and the cartridges and needles exchange with all kits currently on the market.
