The Bair Hugger system has revolutionized forced-air warming by providing clinicians access to comfort and clinical warming in one product throughout the perioperative process. With a single gown, patients may be prewarmed before surgery then clinically warmed during surgery when connected to a 3M� Bair Hugger� warming unit. The gown continues to warm in PACU, with both comfort and clinical capabilities. The Bair Hugger + gown offers patient-adjustable warming and includes a second clinical hose port in the lower portion of the gown, eliminating the need to reposition the gown when a procedure requires lower body warming. The x-large size gown is ideal for warming bariatric and larger surgical patients.
