Indications: Temporarily relieves cough due to minor throat and bronchial irritation as may occur with a cold or inhaled irritants.
DirectionsShake well before using. Do not take more than six doses in 24 hours. Adults and Children 12 Years of Age and Over: 2 teaspoons every 4 hours. Children 6 Years to Under 12 Years of Age: 1 teaspoon every 4 hours. Children Under 6 Years of Age: Ask a doctor. Store in a cool place.
Ingredients: Active Ingredients: Dextromethorphan HBr (10 mg per Teaspoon). Inactive Ingredients: Cod Liver Oil, Flavors, Glycerin, Gum Arabic, Licorice, Sugar Water.
Warnings: Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if you are now taking prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (certain drugs for depression, psychiatric or emotional conditions, or Parkinson's disease), or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug (If you are uncertain whether your prescription contains an MAOI, consult a health professional before taking this product). Ask a doctor before use if you have a persistent or chronic cough such as occurs with smoking, asthma, emphysema; a cough accompanied by excessive phlegm (mucus). Stop use and ask doctor if cough persists for more than one week; cough tends to recur; cough is accompanied by fever, rash, or persistent headache (A persistent cough may be a sign of a serious condition). If pregnant or breast-feeding ask a health professional before use. Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. Tamper Evident: Do not use if bottle safety seal is broken or missing.
